Job Title: EPS Machining Technician Location: Derbyshire Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday: 6am-2.30pm A well-established manufacturer is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Machining Technician to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business supplying polystyrene inserts into the construction industry. The Role You will set up, operate, and monitor EPS pre-expanders and shape-moulding machinery, carry out quality inspections, and support finishing processes to ensure products meet customer specifications and production targets. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery
- Carry out routine quality checks on machinery
- Pressure test, monitor cycle times, rectify machine faults.
- Assist with insertion moulding and secondary manufacturing operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Work alongside maintenance engineers to complete repairs
- Follow production procedures and health & safety standards at all times
What We’re Looking For Previous experience in plastic or polystyrene machining, or machine operation. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Flexibility and willingness to learn new machinery and processes

- The ability to manually handle bags and boxes up to 15kg
