SAP Finance Functional Consultant

Overview

In this role you will serve as a Finance and Controlling functional expert on SAP delivery projects, translating business needs into SAP design. You may lead a functional team and stay on projects to drive value through Fit to Standard SAP S/4 transformations. You will collaborate with clients and cross‑functional teams to design and implement SAP solutions, shaping how finance processes evolve. This position offers exposure to global deployments and a genuine impact on client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Functional Expert in Finance and Controlling on delivery projects
• Translate business and functional requirements into SAP design documents
• Potentially lead a functional team on long-running projects
• Contribute to Fit to Standard SAP S/4 transformations for seamless business changes
• Collaborate with clients and functional teams to design and implement SAP solutions
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required

Key requirements

• 5+ years of SAP Finance experience
• End-to-end process knowledge for Project System
• Cross-functional integration (Order to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Asset Accounting & Settlement Management)
• Experience with ETO/Engineer to Order & MTO Made to Order and revenue-based projects
• At least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations
• Strong knowledge of period end processes and SAP S/4 transformations
• Experience in business process reengineering to optimize finance workflows
