Overview
As an Account Executive for the Life Sciences vertical, you drive adoption of AlphaSense’s AI-powered market intelligence with top Life Sciences companies across EMEA. You’ll build credibility with R&D, commercial, and corporate teams, guiding strategic conversations and showcasing measurable ROI. You’ll engage at executive levels, shape use cases, and represent AlphaSense at key industry events. This role combines high-energy sales leadership with a focus on transformative outcomes in life sciences.
Responsibilities
- Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders across the life sciences value chain, aligning AlphaSense to strategic objectives
- Engage multiple stakeholder groups in pharma, biotech, medtech, and CRO/CDMO to drive adoption
- Conduct rigorous pre-call research to tailor conversations and establish credibility with domain experts
- Lead executive-level presentations and on-site workshops linking AI capabilities to high-value use cases
- Develop and present quantified business cases showing ROI of AlphaSense adoption
- Represent AlphaSense at major industry events (e.g., BIO, HLTH) with live demos and networking
- Orchestrate complex multi-region sales cycles and navigate procurement and legal reviews at executive level
- Collaborate with Product Specialists and Customer Success to design and run POC trials and onboarding strategies
Key requirements
- Proven track record closing six- to seven-figure ACV deals, preferably in life sciences (pharma, biotech, medtech, CRO/CDMO)
- Demonstrated ability to build executive credibility quickly and maintain strategic relationships across R&D, commercial, and corporate functions
- Strong networking skills at industry events, conferences, and panels
- Comfort explaining complex data and insights to both scientific and non-scientific audiences
