Overview

In this senior, hands-on role you lead the Fleet Management organisation across UK&I, guiding ~150 people to keep the fleet reliable and available. You will shape long-term strategy, budgets and city plans while owning cost performance and KPI-driven delivery. You collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure safe, compliant operations and high performance as the business scales. You will influence senior stakeholders and drive improvements through data-driven problem solving. This is a chance to shape a fast-growing, mission-driven operation in micromobility.

Responsibilities

  • Coach fleet managers across UK&I, removing blockers and supporting success
  • Set clear standards for communication and prioritisation
  • Partner with the GM to develop long-term fleet strategy and city plans
  • Own the P&L cost basis, steer spend, track KPIs and optimise per city
  • Plan capacity, recruit talent to meet SLAs at minimum cost
  • Own and optimise vehicles, facilities and equipment for utilisation and lifespan
  • Collaborate with UK&I leadership and Central Operations to ensure safety, compliance and high performance

Key requirements

  • 6+ years in a senior operational role with proven management of large, distributed teams across multiple cities or regions
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering or business
  • Experience owning budgeting, forecasting, P&L and cost performance
  • Ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of operational models including 3PL and workforce management
  • Experience building, coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience using AI in a role-specific context to improve output quality
  • Full professional proficiency in English
