About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Process Engineer to contribute to their operational improvements and process innovations in East London . This role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in manufacturing. You will work closely with production teams, quality control, and engineering departments to identify and resolve process-related challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of industrial engineering principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Design and implement new process layouts, equipment modifications, and operational procedures.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including flow charts, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to monitor and improve process performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Lead small-to-medium scale process improvement projects from conception to completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering or process engineering role.
- Proficiency in process analysis, optimization techniques, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Familiarity with CAD software and project management tools is a plus.
