Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement activities across development and customer projects to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets
  • Engage early in project planning to shape sourcing strategies and align timelines with engineering milestones
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend suppliers for technical components with clear assessment criteria
  • Act as interface between engineering, procurement, suppliers, and production to communicate requirements and surface issues
  • Support prototyping, industrialisation, and ramp-up phases with adaptable procurement approaches
  • Track supplier performance and flag deviations early for corrective action
  • Contribute to building a qualified supplier base meeting Helsing’s technical and compliance requirements

Key requirements

  • Managed procurement in technically complex, project-driven environments
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation for supplier assessment
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders
  • Experience with supplier negotiations and understanding contract terms
