As a Family Law Solicitor/Legal Executive, you will manage a mixed caseload in divorce and finance matters within a supportive team. Responsibilities

  • Manage a mixed caseload of family law matters (divorce and finance)
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, statements, and pleadings
  • Attend client conferences, hearings, and conferences with counsel
  • Conduct advocacy and represent clients at court hearings
  • Meet time and fee targets
  • Keep up to date with developments in family law practice and procedures

Key requirements

  • At least 2 years PQE in Family Law
  • Good knowledge of public funding regulations and LAA procedures
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Commercial awareness and motivation to generate new work and cross-referrals
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office and case management systems)
  • Law Society Family Law Panel and/or Resolution accreditation (or willingness to work towards accreditation)
