We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced New Car Sales Manager to join our team at Mercedes-Benz of Ascot. This is a full time permanent role offeirng a £47,500 basic salary £70,000 OTE plus company car.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and commercially driven automotive Sales Manager to take the lead of our new car sales operation, working within a strong and established team and representing one of the most prestigious brands in the motor industry.

Based in our state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz showroom, you will lead a team of 8 Sales Executives selling both new and used vehicles. Our Sales Management team consists of a Used Car Sales Manager, 2 Business Managers and a Sales Support Manager, providing a strong structure, allowing you to focus on leading the team, driving performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The Role

As New Car Sales Manager, you will take responsibility for leading, coaching and developing the sales team to deliver outstanding commercial results and consistently high standards of customer service.

You will manage a structured and controlled sales process, remaining highly visible and hands‑on with your team and supporting customer interactions through effective first and second facing.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of 8 Sales Executives
  • Driving new car sales performance, profitability and operating efficiency
  • Coaching colleagues to maximise their individual and team performance
  • Working closely with the2 Business Managers and Sales Support Manager to ensure a smooth and effective sales process
  • Supporting the sale of vehicles alongside appropriate finance, insurance and additional products
  • Ensuring consistently high standards of customer service throughout the sales journey
  • Managing sales campaigns and promotions to maximise opportunities and sales penetration
  • Monitoring performance against agreed objectives and taking action to drive results
  • Creating a positive, accountable and high-performance sales environment

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, we are looking for someone with New Car Sales Management experience and a strong track record of delivering results within the motor industry.

We would also welcome applications from a experienced Mercedes‑Benz Business Managers who are ready to take the next step into Sales Management, particularly someone who already has a strong understanding of the Mercedes‑Benz sales process and agency model.

You’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience within automotive sales management, or significant Mercedes‑Benz Business Manager experience
  • A strong understanding of new car sales processes and commercial performance
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills
  • The ability to motivate a sales team and create a high-performance culture
  • Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to make effective decisions
  • A hands‑on management style with a strong focus on the customer
  • The ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven premium dealership environment
