Lead Business Analyst in Markets Treasury Technology

Overview

In this role you will lead business analysis for intraday liquidity solutions within Citi’s Markets Treasury Technology team. You will bridge business stakeholders and the development team across the full software lifecycle, focusing on data understanding, requirements, and solution design. You will drive alignment between Business, OPS, and Tech, define test scenarios, and secure stakeholder consensus. This role offers exposure to cash management, FX/Fixed Income domains, and a chance to shape enterprise-level financial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business, OPS and Tech to converge on solutions
• Perform data analysis using Excel, Python and other tools
• Analyze existing ecosystems to map requirements and gaps
• Translate business needs into technical designs with the development team
• Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria for delivered functionality
• Lead meetings with senior stakeholders to gain consensus and support

Key requirements

• Experience in cash management and intraday liquidity for financial institutions
• Strong understanding of SWIFT messages related to payments, statements and intraday balances
• Knowledge of core Markets products (FX, MM, Fixed Income) from a cash flow perspective
• Extensive data analysis tool experience (Python, Excel)
• Awareness of industry trends and technology landscapes
• Good understanding of modern software engineering practices
