Working to set delivery rotas, ensuring timely and efficient completion of all scheduled drops and collections.
n
Engaging directly with customers both in person and over the phone, delivering excellent customer service and representing the company to a high standard.
n
Completing comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and reliability.
n
Navigating a variety of driving conditions, including a high degree of rural driving depending on collection and delivery locations.
n
Undertaking regular tramping duties, spending nights away from home in the vehicle where required.
n
Remaining flexible to changing schedules, routes and operational requirements to support business needs.
n
Participating in ongoing training to stay up to date with industry standards, compliance requirements and best practices.
n
Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE licence.
n
Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
n
Experience of working with tankers is advantageous but full training will be given.
n
Excellent organisation skills and use to working to deadlines.
n
Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
n
Confident, polite and a team player.
n
Strong geographical knowledge of the local area.
n
Due to the nature of the role applicants must be hardworking and self-motivated.
