6-Month Interim Assignment | Full-Time

We’re looking for an experienced Project Communications Specialist to support a major business change and transformation programme on an initial 6-month interim basis.

This is a hands‑on role for a senior communications professional who can hit the ground running, quickly assess priorities and deliver effective communications and engagement across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communications and engagement plans for change projects.
• Conduct rapid communications audits and identify priority/high-risk programmes.
• Work closely with project and programme managers and key stakeholders.
• Create clear, engaging internal communications and content.
• Advise teams on stakeholder engagement and change communications.
• Support employee understanding, engagement and adoption of change.
• Introduce effective communications planning and identify quick‑win opportunities.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

About you

• You’ll have significant experience in change communications, transformation and internal engagement, with excellent copywriting and stakeholder management skills.
• You’ll be confident working autonomously, advising senior stakeholders and quickly getting to grips with complex operational or technical subject matter.
• Experience within public sector, local government, NHS, education, membership organisations or large-scale transformation environments would be advantageous.
