Overview

In this role you will act as the subject-matter expert for financial services compliance, translating FCA expectations into practical guidance. You will support second-line oversight, governance, and regulatory engagement while embedding Consumer Duty across product lifecycles. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to shape compliant, customer-focused initiatives and risk controls. The role sits within VodafoneThree’s Financial Services Compliance Advice function, driving real impact across the business. Responsibilities

  • Provide authoritative FCA-based guidance on CONC, ICOBS, PRIN, PERG and SYSC
  • Lead on embedding Consumer Duty and align governance, policy, and controls
  • Support regulatory engagement and reporting to governance forums
  • Assess risk, advise on incidents and remediation, and oversee change across products
  • Offer constructive challenge to business initiatives and product development
  • Mentor and share knowledge to strengthen regulatory capabilities across teams

Key requirements

  • Deep FCA expertise across CONC, ICOBS, PRIN (incl. Consumer Duty) and SYSC
  • Proven track record delivering compliance advice in regulated FS environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence senior leaders
  • Experience embedding Consumer Duty across customer journeys and governance
  • Ability to translate complex regulations into practical, commercially viable guidance
