PMO Lead / Systems Architect (Data Centres)

Overview

As PMO Lead / Systems Architect, you will guide the strategic assessment of the Target Operating Model for a major London data centre programme and evaluate COTS tools. You’ll provide systems and process advice, collaborate with senior project and client stakeholders, and support programme governance and PMO processes. This role combines architecture, transformation delivery, and governance to shape scalable, efficient solutions. You will work in a client-facing, delivery-focused environment with impact across governance and tooling decisions. The opportunity offers high-profile exposure and the chance to influence critical data centre operations.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic assessment of the Target Operating Model
• Assess commercial off-the-shelf tools and systems
• Provide systems and process advice
• Collaborate with senior project and client stakeholders
• Support PMO processes and programme governance
• Help develop and implement effective systems and processes

Key requirements

• Data centre experience preferred
• Strong background in systems architecture, PMO, transformation or programme delivery
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate confidently with senior client teams
• Available at short notice (max four-week notice period)
