Overview

As Sales Director in London, you will lead expansion across EMEA for Credit Benchmark’s credit risk data platform. You’ll drive revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing high-value opportunities with buy-side institutions and asset managers, guided by a strong playbook and expert support. You’ll collaborate across product, risk, and marketing to tailor value propositions and scale partnerships. This role combines strategic account execution with market-building in emerging segments like CLOs and direct lending.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles from outreach to contract, engaging senior stakeholders across regions and verticals
  • Develop and manage a high-value target list aligned to ICPs in buy-side segments
  • Coordinate with US Sales Directors to align go-to-market efforts and ensure consistency
  • Develop vertical expertise to become a market-visible advocate within client segments
  • Collaborate with Product, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver tailored value propositions
  • Own and maintain a data-driven pipeline with disciplined CRM hygiene and forecasting

Key requirements

  • 5 to 7 years’ experience selling SaaS solutions into financial markets
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and credit risk analytics or related capital market services
  • Ability to leverage existing relationships to gain client entry
  • Experience in entrepreneurial environments or selling a new product/data set
  • Ability to generate leads and develop relationships where none exist
  • Experience integrating product into client workflows and driving adoption
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce) and ability to implement best practices
  • Excellent networking and presentation skills
