Overview
In this role, you join Oliver Wyman’s Banking & Financial Services & Performance Transformation practice to help clients navigate complex strategy and transformation challenges. You will break down problems, lead small teams, and craft actionable recommendations for senior clients. The role blends analytical rigor with client relationship management in a dynamic, inclusive culture. You will work on projects spanning digital strategy, AI, technology operating models and cyber resilience, shaping impactful outcomes for financial institutions.

Responsibilities
- Decompose complex problems into actionable workstreams and guide junior consultants
- Plan and execute analyses to identify core issues and craft recommendations
- Lead project teams on engagements and coordinate client-facing progress
- Ensure recommendations are practical, cohesive, and supported by evidence
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development
Key requirements
- 4–8 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy firm
- In-depth knowledge of the banking sector
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills with ability to conduct advanced analyses
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in formal and informal settings
- Fluency in English and another language (French, German, Spanish, Dutch) preferred
- Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
- Willingness to travel
