Planning Manager – Client Side

Overview

In this Planning Manager role, you will lead planning efforts for residential, hotel, mixed-use and commercial projects across London and the South East. You’ll own planning applications, develop opportunities, and coordinate stakeholder engagement and consultant teams across a high-quality portfolio. You will independently manage complex applications and drive project outcomes for a major private property business. This is a hands-on role that combines leadership with strategic planning to shape a diverse development agenda.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning applications across a varied portfolio (residential, hotel, mixed-use, commercial).
• Identify and pursue development opportunities and strategies.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and manage consultant teams.
• Take ownership of complex applications and delivery timelines.
• Independently lead projects and ensure successful planning outcomes.

Key requirements

• 5–10 years’ planning experience
• MRTPI (or working towards)
