Trading Operations – Middle Office

Overview

In this role you will support a multi-asset, multi-venue trading environment within a tech‑driven operations team. You’ll handle reconciliation and P&L substantiation, collaborating with front-office traders and back-office colleagues. The position offers high exposure and the chance to shape operational processes and tooling. You’ll work across asset classes and lifecycle stages, driving process automation and improvements with real impact.

Responsibilities

• Daily ops processes
• Daily P&L calculation and substantiation
• Aggregating and reporting P&L
• Third-party trade capture, inventory management, and P&L reporting
• Build understanding of traders’ risk management tools and support traders’ needs

Key requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in middle or back office in a trading firm, ideally buy side
• Derivative valuations
• Ability to navigate and analyze P&L across various asset types
• Ability to work with databases, and utilize data from APIs preferred
• Strong MS Excel skills, including VBA experience
• Python coding
