Commercial Property Solicitor – 3+ Years PQE

Overview

In this role you will handle a diverse commercial property caseload within a growing Bath team, delivering commercially-minded advice to high-net-worth clients, developers and business owners. You will lead transactions, support junior colleagues, and contribute to business development while maintaining high standards of client care. There is clear potential to progress into a non-equity director position, offering a meaningful leadership path. You’ll work in a supportive culture that values quality work and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage diverse, high-quality commercial property caseload
• Advise on conveyancing, landlord/tenant, acquisitions, development schemes, option agreements, enfranchisement, leases, guarantees, indemnities, asset transfers and security
• Provide commercially-focused advice to a range of clients
• Lead on transactions and mentor junior team members
• Build strong client relationships and deliver excellent client care
• Contribute to business development and departmental growth
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm
• Maintain organisation, attention to detail and regulatory compliance

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3+ years’ PQE in commercial property
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to manage own caseload independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client relationships
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work under pressure under tight deadlines
• Team-focused with ability to mentor others
• Ambitious and commercially aware with progression into senior leadership
• Experience in general commercial law or contentious matters is welcome but not essential
• Comfortable with modern IT systems and adopting new technologies
