Syndicate Financial Controller

Overview

As Finance Director, you will lead the financial function for a major division within a global services business, reporting to the CFO. You shape regional financial strategy, present performance and risks to senior leadership, and drive decision-making through robust FP&A and governance. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and controls while mentoring a large finance team and partnering with global finance. The role offers exposure to senior leaders and a meaningful chance to drive change and impact scale.

Responsibilities

• Shape regional financial strategy and influence senior leadership decisions
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles with high-quality modelling
• Maintain financial governance, management accounts, and statutory compliance
• Coordinate and optimise audit processes and internal controls
• Develop and mentor a large finance team, promoting standardisation and improvement
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and cross-functional collaboration with global finance teams

Key requirements

• Qualified Accountant
