The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely, efficiently, and on time while delivering excellent customer service. This is a multi‑drop delivery role with consistent work and the opportunity to join a respected transport operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class 2 (Category C) vehicles, including double-deck units
- Complete multi‑drop deliveries across scheduled routes
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
- Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records
- Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules
- Communicate professionally with customers and transport teams
- Assist with loading and unloading when required
- Comply with all UK driving regulations, tachograph requirements, and health & safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum 2 years of Class 2 driving experience
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Good understanding of UK transport legislation and driving regulations
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Clean driving licence preferred
- Flexibility to work varying shifts where required
