Managing Associate – Projects, Infrastructure & Construction – Non-Contentious

Overview

In this role you will support non-contentious construction mandates and work closely with Partners to deliver complex projects. You’ll develop expertise across real estate development, energy, infrastructure and housing initiatives while mentoring junior lawyers and pursuing business development. You will contribute to tender work and help shape the team’s strategic plan within a fast-growing PIC practice. Responsibilities

• Support non-contentious construction mandates with Partner oversight
• Assist clients on real estate development, energy, infrastructure, housing and student accommodation projects
• Participate in business development to strengthen the team and firm client base
• Supervise Associates, Paralegals and Trainees to aid their development
• Develop construction law knowledge and expertise
• Delegate to and receive support from Senior Associates, Associates, Trainees and Paralegals
• Support Partner team on tenders and contribute to team strategic planning

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor (registered with Law Society, SRA or equivalent)
• 6 PQE+ with senior-level construction experience
• Experience with standard industry forms in non-contentious matters
• Experience in building and maintaining client relationships
• Experience supervising or managing junior staff
• Strong communication and client engagement skills
• Ability to provide strategic advice and be an active senior team member
• Willingness to contribute to developing the firm’s offering locally and nationally
