Principal, Technology Business Partner

Overview

In this role, you will lead technology transformation and growth within a Pearson business unit, sitting in the Office of the CTO. You’ll act as a strategic tech leader and trusted advisor to business leaders, guiding technology choices that enable growth and efficiency. You will champion AI-enabled modernization and align OCTO initiatives with business priorities to deliver measurable outcomes. This role offers the chance to shape cross-functional collaboration, drive innovation, and impact learners and stakeholders at scale.

Responsibilities

• Translate business goals into technology strategies and roadmaps, ensuring OCTO initiatives align with business priorities
• Provide expert guidance on technology investments, digital transformation, and architecture
• Bridge OCTO teams and business units, clearly communicating capabilities, constraints, and benefits
• Prioritize initiatives by potential to deliver measurable business outcomes
• Own and execute the long-term vision for technology alignment with company goals
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, automation, and continuous improvement
• Contribute thought leadership across technology, product, and HR within the TPB leadership team
• Advise on AI solutions to improve processes, user experience, and efficiency in software development and technology operations
