Director of Finance – London Marriott Hotel County Hall

Overview

In this role you will provide strategic financial leadership for the hotel, shaping financial strategy, planning, and performance. You will partner with the General Manager and owners to drive commercial insight for revenue growth and ensure strong governance. You will lead a high-performing finance team and manage relationships with owners, corporate, audits, and other stakeholders. You will oversee cash flow, controls, reporting, and risk management to enable sustainable performance in a luxury hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, and performance management
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and annual business planning
• Provide commercial insight to support revenue growth and profitability
• Partner with operations to identify efficiencies and drive performance
• Safeguard assets with strong controls and risk management
• Manage cash flow, working capital, financial reporting, and compliance
• Oversee stakeholder relationships with owners, corporate, audits
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team

Key requirements

• Proven finance leadership within hospitality
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to influence decisions
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and controls
• Track record of delivering financial performance and operational efficiencies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive teams
• Excellent communication and people leadership capabilities
• Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline preferred
