Overview
In this role you will provide premium corporate tax and incentives advice to a diverse client base, working with partners to manage transactions and develop a sector expertise. You will serve as a trusted business advisor, guide junior team members, and help drive client relationships and cross-team collaboration. The role offers flexible, hybrid working and can be based in multiple UK cities. You’ll contribute to business development and shape the team’s growth within a high-profile national practice.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Partners on advisory and transactional work while managing your own caseload
- Coordinate with Corporate and Real Estate teams on transactional matters
- Lead Incentives projects and manage client relationships (internal and external)
- Drive business development initiatives
- Supervise and support newly qualified Associates and Trainees
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their development
Key requirements
- Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE and UK tax experience (CT, income tax, VAT, SDLT)
- Ability to deliver concise legal and tax advice aligned with client commercial needs
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients at all levels
- Proven track record in business development and maintaining client relationships
- Ability to understand clients’ businesses and act in their and the firm’s best interests
- Willingness to contribute to a collaborative culture and develop junior staff
