Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Provide a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the school and adapt teaching where appropriate.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress during lessons.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Ensure the wellbeing and safeguarding of all children.
- Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to the class teacher or school leadership team.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Be confident teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and/or Key Stage 2.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
- Be flexible, reliable, and able to adapt quickly to different school environments.
- Have strong communication and organisational skills.
- Be committed to raising standards and supporting every child to achieve their full potential.

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent experience teaching in a primary school.
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Excellent safeguarding awareness.
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
