Solutions Engineer

Overview

In this role you will enable retailers and brands to leverage Global-e’s cross-border platform to grow international sales. You will guide technical discussions, prototype integrations, and align product roadmaps with client feedback. You’ll work across Sales, Project, Product, and R&D to resolve technical blockers and optimize integration strategies. The position offers high-impact work shaping how merchants go global while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Explain platform features and troubleshoot client roadblocks
• Qualify opportunities and address technical objections with strategy to resolve impediments
• Recommend integration approaches and best practices to optimize platform effectiveness
• Serve as technical focal point for client integrations and prototype merchant environments
• Provide ongoing education and technical support to partners and clients
• Stay current with product features and roadmaps, feeding field feedback to Product & R&D

Key requirements

• 3+ years in solution design/integration with direct client interaction (SaaS)
• Strong ability to pitch solutions and translate complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Degree in Computer Science or another technical field
• Solid understanding of systems integration concepts, RESTful APIs, and SQL databases
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience collaborating with distant teams
• Ability to adapt to varying tech environments and cloud/IT spaces
• Experience in eCommerce or Logistics/Operations is a plus
