Tax Senior Manager – Audit & Reporting

Overview

In this Senior Manager role within KPMG’s Global Compliance & Transformation (GCT) team, you will lead corporate tax compliance engagements, advise on complex tax issues, and drive efficiency through outsourcing and technology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support multinational groups across sectors, including financial services, and contribute to market-leading tax transformation initiatives. Expect exposure to Pillar 2, global outsourcing programs, and a digital compliance agenda. You will shape client outcomes and mentor junior staff in a fast-growing, tech-enabled environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain client relationships across a portfolio and expand experience to address client needs
• Manage and supervise delivery of corporate tax compliance engagements and outsourcing contracts
• Provide solutions to moderately complex tax problems and draft advice on new legislation
• Respond to ad hoc technical requests from clients
• Improve compliance efficiency through process controls and technology
• Lead sales activities with senior team members to generate additional opportunities
• Coach and develop junior staff
• Support group/statutory Tax Reporting, including global outsource contracts under US GAAP and IFRS
• Provide tax technical input for audits of tax for multinational groups

Key requirements

• Deep knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and compliance for large, complex groups
• Project management and coordination experience on large/global engagements
• Strong leadership, accountability, and client relationship management
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
• Ability to provide feedback, coaching, and mentoring
• Analytical problem solving and information synthesis
• Builds reputation through quality work and experience
• Qualifications: ATT / CTA / ACA or equivalent (or qualified by experience); project management qualifications and transformation skills (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are welcome
