About you:
- At least 3 years’ experience in inbound logistics or supply chain within a high-volume manufacturing setting
- Hands-on experience managing multi-site inbound logistics operations
- Proficient in freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs processes, including TSS declerations and duty reimbursement
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HMRC import/export regulations and Microsoft Navision is desirable
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate all inbound shipments across multiple manufacturing and warehouse sites, ensuring on-time delivery
- Manage high-volume containerised, groupage, and courier freight, acting as the main contact for freight providers and customs agents
- Monitor shipment progress, proactively resolving delays or risks to maintain production schedules
- Support customs compliance, audits, and inspections, maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate closely with purchasing, production, warehouse, and finance teams to optimise inbound logistics processes
- Track KPIs, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and ensure cost-effective freight management
