Overview
In this Deputy Manager role, you support the Registered Manager to sustain exceptional care standards and resident experience in a luxury 62-bed home. You lead the care team, drive governance and quality improvements, and help shape a positive, person-centred culture. The position offers leadership development and clear opportunities for progression within a growing organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliant, high-quality care while supporting staff and residents.

Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day management of the home
- Lead, motivate and develop the care team
- Maintain CQC compliance and high-quality standards
- Oversee audits, governance and continuous improvement
- Support care planning, assessments and resident wellbeing
- Build strong relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals
- Promote a positive, supportive culture throughout the home
Key requirements
- Deputy Manager experience in an elderly residential or nursing home
- Proven track record of leading and developing care teams
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care
- NMC PIN advantageous; open to non-registered deputies with strong leadership background
