Set and programme medium and large CNC vertical or horizontal borers for one-off and varied machining workMachine Operation:
Operate CNC machinery to produce precision components from castings, forgings, profiles and fabricationsEngineering Drawings:
Read and interpret engineering drawings to understand machining requirements, tolerances and specificationsQuality and Measurement:
Use manual measuring equipment to check dimensions and surface finish, ensuring work meets required standardsProduction Support:
Work with the machine shop supervisor, team leaders, quality management and manufacturing engineering colleaguesSafe Working:
