Finance Business Partner

Overview

In this role you will partner with the Direct Channel to drive financial strategy and insight. You will own month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecast processes, delivering clear analysis to support senior leadership. You’ll develop dashboards and models to illuminate revenue and cost trends and support process improvements and ERP initiatives. You will collaborate with IT and finance to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery of statements and reconciliations. This is a hands-on, data-driven role with a clear impact on growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end balance sheet reporting for Direct and Indirect channels, including intercompany and cash reconciliations
• Prepare monthly Direct Channel income statements, including variance analysis and commentary for group reviews
• Partner with Direct Channel to support business strategy and growth
• Lead budget preparation and submission for Direct Channel
• Support internal and external audits with timely evidence and explanations
• Prepare and submit monthly balance sheet reconciliations (Stock, Accruals, Prepayments) for review by Financial Director
• Create and maintain user-friendly reports to analyse revenue, expenses, variances and trends
• Act as ERP system specialist, collaborating with IT on system improvements and new solutions
• Conduct in-depth historical data analysis to provide actionable recommendations for the future
• Support finance function in process improvements focused on compliance and efficiency
• Review MSS data for completeness in customs duty

Key requirements

• Min 5 years of experience in accounting functions
• Advanced Excel skills
• Power BI and dashboard-building experience
• Excellent communication skills across all levels
