Drive delivery. Coordinate programmes. Help power the UK’s EV future.
You’re someone who enjoys bringing complex projects together, coordinating multiple stakeholders and seeing the results of your work on the ground. You take pride in staying organised, solving problems before they become issues, and keeping projects moving forward even when priorities change.
At Ground Control, you’ll join our growing Energy Solutions team and play a key role in delivering one of our largest on-street EV charging programmes to date. This is an opportunity to manage projects from concept through to completion, helping deliver critical charging infrastructure across London while working alongside experienced project, design and operational teams.

You’ll oversee the end-to-end delivery of EV charging installation projects, ensuring works are planned effectively, appropriately resourced and delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Coordinate multiple live projects
You’ll manage installation programmes across multiple locations, balancing resources, resolving scheduling challenges and ensuring site teams have what they need to succeed.
Build strong stakeholder relationships
You’ll work closely with local authorities, operational teams and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration throughout project delivery.
Drive operational efficiency
You’ll have the opportunity to identify improvements, streamline processes and support the ongoing development of programme tracking and reporting systems.
Support the UK’s journey to net zero
Your work will directly contribute to the expansion of EV charging infrastructure, helping communities access cleaner and more sustainable transport options.
What you’ll do:
In this role, you’ll support the successful delivery of a major on-street EV charging programme, coordinating projects from survey and design through to installation, commissioning and handover.
Lead multiple EV infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle, ensuring sites are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Coordinate surveys, designs, permits and installation activities, keeping projects moving and stakeholders informed at every stage.
Work closely with local authorities, utility providers, internal design teams, site supervisors and contractors to overcome challenges and maintain delivery momentum.
Review site surveys, drawings and design information, helping identify potential issues before works begin.
Monitor project programmes, trackers and documentation, ensuring key milestones, approvals and deliverables are effectively managed.
Support material ordering and delivery activities, maintaining visibility of project requirements and timelines.
Carry out site visits, progress reviews and quality inspections, helping ensure installations meet the required standards.
Manage project close-out activities including commissioning records, as-built information and final handover documentation.
What we’re looking for:
Experience managing infrastructure, utilities, telecoms, fibre, highways, street works or EV charging projects.
A strong understanding of project delivery, ideally across the full lifecycle from planning through to handover.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, local authorities or utility providers.

Experience maintaining project trackers, schedules, documentation and reporting processes.
