We are currently seeking to expand our Regional Service User Network team and are recruiting for the following position:

Service Manager- Regional Service User Network

ASCERT has grown to become one of the leading and best-known drug and alcohol charities in Northern Ireland. ASCERT provide a wide range of services across Northern Ireland operating from bases in Lisburn, Omagh and Belfast. We are strongly linked to policy development and implementation of strategy at a regional and local level through direct service delivery and partnership working.

This Service Manager will be responsible for the development, co-ordination and management of a regional service user network of groups and individuals with lived and living experience of substance use across Northern Ireland.

The aim of the Network is to connect groups and individuals with lived and living experience of substance use, offering support, information exchange, improved communication, contacts, advice on good practice and a regional voice to influence the planning, implementation and evaluation of substance use services across Northern Ireland.

The Service Manager is responsible in ensuring that portfolio KPIs are achieved, line managing a project support worker and will over time support the management of volunteers within the service.

In addition, the Service Manager will be responsible for contract management, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing network development and co-ordination, network services, communication, and stakeholder relationships. They will supervise the service staff and volunteers and manage service performance and quality.

RESPONSIBLE TO:Director of Operations

LENGTH OF POST:March 2028 (Subject to funding)

LOCATION:ASCERT Office/Hybrid working

HOURS:21 hours

SALARY: SCP Pt 35 £46,142 per annum, (Pro rata £27,685) Plus 6% pension
