Warehouse Operative

Job Description

Vertiv are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Campsie, Derry/Londonderry. There are both day and night shift available – please state your preference upon applying. Key Responsibilities

• Receive and issue materials, equipment, and other items in line with operational requirements.
• Accurately record inventory transactions using manual and digital systems.
• Organise and prepare all the necessary materials and equipment required for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Monitor inventory movement and identify discrepancies through regular cycle counts and stock verification.
• Ensure all store materials are correctly identified, labelled, and stored in their designated locations.
• Manage outbound shipments, including documentation and coordination of pick-up with service providers.
• Assist in maintaining minimum stock levels for critical components to avoid production delays.
• Organize and hand out all tooling equipment for production floor, ensuring all information is captured before signing out.

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience

• Experience in warehouse, material handling, or inventory control.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• A clear disciplinary record.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications/Experience

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of stock and logistics processes.
• Forklift qualification
