Residential Real Estate Solicitor

Overview

In this role you will handle high-value residential property work within a leading private wealth practice in London. You will advise HNW and UHNW clients, family offices and professionals on prime acquisitions and dispositions, working closely with private client teams. The position offers exposure to prestigious properties, country estates and developments, with a focus on building long-term client relationships. You will help grow the residential offering and collaborate across the firm to deliver a joined-up service.

Responsibilities

• Advise on acquisition and disposal of prime residential properties including luxury London homes and country estates
• Manage high-value, complex transactions for sophisticated clients
• Interact directly with clients, family offices and advisers to build relationships
• Collaborate with private client and family teams to provide integrated services
• Contribute to the development and growth of the residential practice and client base
• Draft, negotiate and resolve issues across complex workloads
• Maintain awareness of relevant legal changes (e.g., Building Safety Act) and advise accordingly

Key requirements

• 6+ years’ PQE
• Strong background in high-value residential work
• Good working knowledge of Building Safety Act and its implications
• Confident in dealing with clients, family offices and intermediaries
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage a complex workload and work collaboratively
