Compliance Data Analyst

Overview

You will help transform compliance through data, automation and predictive insight, enabling proactive risk identification and management. You’ll consult with stakeholders to identify data solutions that meet business challenges and drive informed decisions. You’ll turn analytics into intuitive visualisations that resonate with compliance teams and leadership. Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven insights to monitor conduct, compliance and regulatory risks across the organisation
• Collaborate with compliance stakeholders to define questions/opportunities supported by advanced analytics
• Design intuitive dashboards, metrics and management information to support risk-based decision making
• Communicate analytics opportunities in a clear way to help stakeholders choose the best approach
• Apply new tools and methodologies for advanced analytics and ensure processes are efficient and automated where possible
• Summarise updates for stakeholders by linking analytics, data science and data engineering work to business needs

Key requirements

• Proficiency in advanced analytics and data visualisation
• Experience with data architecture and tooling
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, cleaning and transformation
• Python for data preparation, analysis and visualization (Plotly) and exposure to JavaScript
• Dashboard design and best practices in data visualisation
• Knowledge of data engineering, data science and decisioning disciplines
• Strong communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders
• Good financial services knowledge and ability to identify business impact
