Design Manager – Water Sector

Overview

As a Design Manager you lead multi-disciplinary design delivery for water infrastructure programmes. You guide the team from concept to detailed design, working with clients to deliver best value and service excellence. You’ll influence projects across clean water, wastewater, flood risk and urban drainage, leveraging a global network of experts. Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams across complex water projects
• Oversee design delivery from concept to detailed design and owner’s engineer services
• Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure value and quality of outputs
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across multiple disciplines
• Plan and lead technical delivery while guiding the team
• Engage with clients to align on requirements and deliverables
• Utilize global network of experts to inform leading-edge designs

Key requirements

• Experienced engineer with strong technical expertise in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or relevant discipline
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams
• Experience delivering major projects and managing multiple stakeholders
• Chartered status preferred; supportive pathway offered
