MEP Rail Sector Specialist

Overview

In this role you will lead MEP design and delivery for major rail projects, guiding multi-disciplinary teams from concept to completion. You’ll work within a rail and transport-focused consultancy to shape stations, depots and hubs across the UK. You’ll engage with clients and stakeholders to drive project success, ensuring standards and interfaces are met on high-profile programs. Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams on MEP delivery
• Oversee MEP delivery from concept through to completion
• Shape major rail stations, depots and transport hubs
• Manage design programmes and client/stakeholder engagement
• Ensure compliance with rail industry standards and client requirements
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders

Key requirements

• Chartered Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Strong MEP design and project delivery experience
• Rail or transport infrastructure background
• Knowledge of Network Rail, HS2, TfL or similar standards
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and design programmes
