Overview

In this role, you lead finance transformation initiatives to make finance functions more agile, value-driven, and cost-efficient. You’ll work with cross-functional client teams to design operating models, processes, and digital solutions that improve performance and enable strategic decision-making. You’ll address complex challenges through process optimization, automation, and data-driven insights, contributing to EY’s mission of building a better working world. This is a client-facing leadership position with emphasis on delivery, growth, and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver finance transformation projects within client engagement teams across industries
• Design and implement operating models, process improvements, automation, and digital finance solutions
• Monitor project progress, manage risks/dependencies, and communicate with stakeholders
• Build and sustain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality delivery
• Support business development activities including proposals, client presentations, and market initiatives
• Contribute to practice development through thought leadership, capability development, and knowledge sharing
• Demonstrate and apply strong technical knowledge across Finance Transformation disciplines
• Stay current with trends in finance, digital transformation, automation, analytics, and finance technologies
• Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment
• Promote EY’s culture of continuous learning, innovation, and inclusion

Key requirements

• Significant experience delivering Finance Transformation programmes
• Strong expertise in Finance Process Improvement, Standardisation, Financial Reporting and Performance Management, Automation, Digital Transformation, and Operating Models
• Experience across core Finance processes: Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, FP&A, Management Reporting
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building across business and Finance functions
• Experience managing workstreams and delivering high-quality outcomes on time
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project delivery skills
• Experience mentoring or developing junior team members
• Experience with Finance technologies, ERP platforms, analytics tools, automation solutions, or AI-enabled Finance capabilities
