We are also part of a successful Primary Care Network alongside Bloomfield Medical Centre, serving a combined population of approximately 30,000 patients across both practices.

We are looking to recruit an experienced, motivated and innovative Enhanced Practice Nurse to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious nurse with strong clinical skills and a passion for service improvement to play a key role in shaping and developing nursing services within a busy and expanding practice.

Main duties of the job

The Enhanced Practice Nurse will provide clinical leadership and day-to-day management of the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality patient care. The post holder will lead the development of nursing services, support the achievement of quality and contractual targets, and work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

The role includes managing long-term condition services, health promotion programmes, vaccinations and screening services, workforce planning, clinical governance, infection prevention and control, and quality improvement initiatives. The post holder will also maintain an active clinical caseload, delivering evidence-based care to patients with a range of long-term conditions.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Enhanced Practice Nurse will contribute to service development, staff development, operational planning and continuous improvement, helping to ensure nursing services remain responsive, patient-centred and aligned with NHS priorities.
