Overview

In this Finance Partner role, you influence commercial decisions by delivering end-to-end P&L reporting and variance analysis for Morrisons’ growing Online partnerships. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to drive financial control, identify risks and opportunities, and streamline reporting processes. You’ll play a pivotal part in centralising controls and building an efficient finance function. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape profitability and support strategic trade decisions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Weekly sales and margin reporting with commentary for trade
• Month-end processes including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Variance analysis and forecasting against budgets and business cases
• Maintain high financial control within your area
• Identify risks/opportunities for departments and streamline processes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with site colleagues and the wider Finance team
• Expedite centralisation of controls and reporting and lay groundwork for future-proofed team structure

Key requirements

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with ability to influence at all levels
• Experience in a large complex organisation
• Good understanding of trading and strong commercial acumen
