Housing Officer: Prevent Homelessness & Support Stable Homes

Durham County Council in Seaham is recruiting a Housing Officer to help prevent homelessness and support customers with housing needs. You will assess needs, develop Personal Housing Plans, and work with landlords and partners to sustain accommodation.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, knowledge of homelessness legislation, and the ability to manage a varied workload. The post is temporary until October 2027, with hybrid working where applicable.
