Overview

As Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will safeguard data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across Buried Services, EC and Utility Survey teams. You will act as the quality authority bridging field operations and QA standards, ensuring outputs meet client specifications and industry procedures. You’ll identify patterns of errors, drive corrective actions, and standardize QA processes and templates. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams, auditing sites, and supporting efficiency improvements while maintaining high quality. This is a hands-on, cross-team role at scale with opportunities for site visits and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

  • Review deliverables from Buried Services, EC and Utility Survey teams for accuracy and consistency
  • Ensure outputs comply with industry standards, procedures, and client specifications
  • Identify trends and recurring errors; implement corrective actions
  • Develop and enforce QA processes, documentation standards, and templates
  • Streamline workflows and pursue cost savings while improving quality
  • Coordinate QA activities across teams; facilitate cross-team alignment and communication
  • Conduct regular site audits and provide QA guidance and best practices

Key requirements

  • Experience in quality assurance, ideally within utilities, surveying, or engineering environments
  • Strong understanding of buried services, utility surveys, or geospatial data (desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret technical data, drawings, and reports
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software/tools used in utility mapping and reporting
