Accountant – Business Intelligence

Overview

In this BI Developer role, you will drive automation of standard weekly reporting to reduce manual effort and accelerate insights. You will build Looker dashboards and data flows, turning data into actionable visuals for finance and technology stakeholders. You’ll support ad-hoc queries and cross-functional projects to improve performance and outcomes. The role focuses on continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and delivering meaningful metrics at pace in a dynamic retail environment. This is a hands-on position that combines data, dashboards, and process automation to enable better business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Automate standard weekly reporting to remove manual effort
• Build Looker and Looker Studio dashboards and data flows
• Create insights from data via Google Sheets outputs
• Support ad-hoc queries and cross-functional business projects
• Provide analytical information to improve performance and efficiency
• Develop automated reporting processes using Google Sheets, Looker, and other data platforms

Key requirements

• Proven ability to assimilate complex data and transform into information for decision making
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines with high accuracy
• MS Excel / Google Sheets intermediate level (advanced preferred)
• Experience building reports and dashboards in Excel/Google Sheets; Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver improvements
• Proven track record of developing insightful reporting and actionable analysis
