Overview
As Assistant Logistics Manager on the Anglian Water Project, you lead logistics activities across multiple sites within a Design and Build framework. You drive safe, compliant, and sustainable lifting and site operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams to support welfare facilities and equipment management. Your role focuses on delivering complex water infrastructure through strong planning, hands-on leadership, and ongoing performance reviews. This is a collaborative role in a mission-driven programme that aims to protect water resources and enable efficient delivery.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team to coordinate project activities across all areas with emphasis on safety and performance
- Oversee lifting operations with Appointed Person capability and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with other managers to support logistics and site facilities across multiple projects
- Visit multiple sites weekly to monitor operations and support delivery teams
- Build strong relationships with project teams, stakeholders and supply chain partners
Key requirements
- Lifting Appointed Person competence, ideally with A62 and A40 qualifications
- Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver multiple projects amidst changing demands
- Knowledge of plant, equipment, delivery vehicles and ground preparation requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, and capability to work remotely
- Strong health and safety awareness, full driving licence, proactive approach to innovation
