Responsibilities
- Conduct ecological surveys and assessments
- Support planning applications and Biodiversity Net Gain initiatives
- Deliver protected species work and ecological mitigation
- Prepare high-quality ecological reports
- Collaborate with arboriculturalists, landscape architects, and project teams
- Contribute to habitat enhancement initiatives
Key requirements
- Relevant degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
- Consultancy experience with ecological surveys and reporting
- Good understanding of UK ecology, protected species and relevant legislation
- Experience with PEA, EcIA and/or BNG desirable
- Strong report-writing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Living in or within a commutable distance of the Watford office
- Willingness to travel for site work
