HR Business Partner (Front Office) – Fixed Term Contract

12-Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

A highly regarded financial services organisation is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its HR team on a maternity cover contract. Supporting a demanding and commercially focused Front Office population, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing business where HR is viewed as a genuine strategic partner.

This role requires an individual who can build credibility quickly, challenge constructively, and provide commercially focused HR support to senior stakeholders within revenue-generating teams.

The Opportunity

Working closely with business leaders and the wider HR function, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support across a broad range of people matters. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping to drive performance, engagement, organisational effectiveness and talent initiatives.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly and stakeholder expectations are high.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior Front Office leaders, providing commercially focused HR advice and guidance.
  • Support organisational design, workforce planning and business change initiatives.
  • Advise managers on employee relations matters, performance management and employment legislation.
  • Lead and support talent management, succession planning and development initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders on compensation and promotion processes.
  • Analyse people data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
  • Drive employee engagement activities and help foster a high-performance culture.
  • Work collaboratively with specialist HR teams to deliver HR initiatives and projects.

About You

  • Previous experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a financial services environment.
  • Essential experience supporting Front Office populations.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand business priorities.
  • Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent employee relations knowledge and experience managing complex cases.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding and high-performance environment.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
