Overview
In this role you lead strategic planning and delivery of a global clinical supply chain portfolio, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across CTS processes. You work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely provision of trial supplies and manage budgets, risk, and regulatory compliance. You will engage with clients and vendors to align on delivery plans and oversee IRT-related inventory and distribution. This is an opportunity to shape end-to-end supply chain capabilities at a global CRO leader.
Responsibilities
- Interpret protocols to design effective supply chain solutions
- Create and maintain demand forecasts and packaging plans
- Initiate packaging campaigns with vendors and ensure on-time delivery
- Setup and monitor IRT systems for inventory management
- Develop distribution plans and oversee vendor execution
- Ensure timely delivery of study materials and proactive independent work
- Track budgets and ensure alignment with client quotations
- Maintain 100% training compliance and apply learnings
- Stay current with GxP and regulatory requirements
- Lead client and vendor meetings on CTS topics
- Create Temperature Excursion management plan and oversee assessments
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigations
- Support client bid defenses and CTS process optimization
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in Clinical Supply Chain Management within clinical trials
- Hands-on experience with Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems
- Proven project management skills with ability to coordinate multiple priorities
- Strong ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication
