Overview
In this role you support financial governance and reporting for a leading investment group. You will contribute to month-end close, statutory and regulatory reporting, and entity planning within the UK & EMEA Financial Reporting and Control team. You’ll gain broad exposure to forecasting, budgeting and data analysis while learning from experienced finance professionals. Responsibilities
- Support monthly legal entity financial analysis including statutory and regulatory reporting, P&L and balance sheet commentary and management information
- Prepare balance sheet reviews, reconciliations and supporting analysis to maintain strong financial control and data integrity
- Assist with statutory accounts, regulatory returns and audit deliverables, working with internal teams, outsourced providers and auditors
- Support technical accounting, local GAAP analysis, tax balances and entity-specific disclosures
- Contribute to forecasting, budgeting and financial planning processes, explaining key movements and trends
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting efficiency, documentation and use of financial data
Key requirements
- Part-qualified accountant studying towards a recognised accounting qualification
- Understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and month-end reporting processes
- Experience in financial analysis or finance operations
- Ability to analyse financial information and present clear, concise commentary
- Oracle or similar ERP exposure is advantageous
