Manager, Real Estate, Financial Due Diligence

Overview

In this role, you will support Deloitte’s Real Estate Mergers and Acquisitions team on high-profile transactions, focusing on financial due diligence across a mix of institutional, corporate, and private equity deals. You’ll work with cross-functional experts to identify value drivers, risks, and adjustments to financials, shaping informed deal decisions. The role offers exposure to international assignments and a client-centric, growth-focused environment. You’ll contribute to delivering high-quality, actionable insights that influence deal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the target business and its drivers
• Interpret and analyze deal-related documents and information
• Review historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets
• Evaluate projections and underlying assumptions
• Identify adjustments to reported financials and working capital trends
• Flag potential issues and risk factors for the client
• Review financial structures and credit agreements
• Collaborate effectively in diverse, inclusive teams

Key requirements

• ACA or equivalent qualification
• Strong academic background
• Experience with financial due diligence and transaction services
• Good report writing with focus on accuracy and risk management
• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation
• Keen interest in real estate sector
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience with senior level stakeholders
• Excellent written and spoken communication
